POSTED 8/7/06 Tazzy & Squirrel arrived in a group of 14 guinea pigs who were free range in an apartment. They were born in January 2006, and it is very likely that they are pregnant. They will be available for adoption as a bonded pair after they have given birth or it is determined that they are not pregnant. Both girls are a bit nervous, but will quiet down if held securely and gently. They are Abyssinians or Aby/Peruvian crosses. UPDATE 6/1/07 - Surprisingly, neither of these girls were pregnant! Tazzy however has since suddenly passed away from unknown causes. Squirrel has done well as an only-pig, and has been seen popcorning in her new digs!
