Cockatoo - Large - Adult - Male - Bird - Birdie

Birdie is one great guy! Prefers women but he had the same male owner for MANY years. They traveled together,etc. When Birdie's person suffered a stroke, Birdie was isolated and for the first time ever,plucked his feathers. As you can see, he is still quite naked (and quite handsome). His feathers have begun to grow in and we hope that with love, attention, LOTS of toys (he loves to destroy wood), a healthy and varied diet, and a large cage with a good view for when he is not out with his person, he will be fully feathered soon. Birdie will require someone with large bird experience who recognizes bird body language and respects it! Birdie has a very clear voice and a great vocabulary.
